PulseCheck FAQs

As many of your organizations roll out PulseCheck — FreeWill’s new survey tool — to better understand what your donors need right now, here are some of your most common questions:

Our organization has done surveys before. How is this different?

PulseCheck isn’t designed to replace your existing survey strategy. We designed PulseCheck to help you assess how your donors are feeling specifically in the context of today’s unprecedented climate. We then follow up with an in-depth analysis on giving readiness, potential for backlash, and more — for multiple giving channels, including but not limited to FreeWill.

Won’t people be annoyed that we’re asking them a bunch of questions?

Highly unlikely! Surveys typically have the highest open rates and strong engagement. People like to talk about themselves, and especially at this moment, they want to feel connection.

Do you send the survey, or do we?

Just like the other outreach we collaborate on, you’ll send it from your preferred email service. We’ll provide the email language and as many links as needed for various audiences, then you’ll send it out.

A night of talent

On Thursday, April 23rd, the entire FreeWill staff joined together for a virtual talent show. Several staff members showcased a wide range of skills - from music, to guided meditations, to poetry readings. If your team is looking for a way to stay connected while working from home, a Zoom talent show is an easy and fun way to get everyone together for a night of entertainment!
