Anonymous donor outreach
|
|
Having contact information for your bequestors is incredibly valuable to help your organization plan ahead and create relationships with the people who are dedicated to your mission. Donors may choose to opt-out of sharing contact information for a variety of reasons, but over time, we have found that some donors do not realize they are not sharing their information.
Starting on Wednesday, October 21st, we will be sending an automated email to all anonymous donors thanking them for creating a gift and asking them if they would like to opt-in and share their contact information with your organization.
Please contact your strategist by Friday, October 16th if you have any concerns about FreeWill reaching out to anonymous donors, or if you would like to see the automated email language.

New Partner Portal resource hub!
|
|
If you’ve used your partner portal in the past few weeks, you may have already spotted an exciting new update under the “Resources” tab: a new partner resources hub! This new page centralizes everything you need to know about marketing FreeWill’s tools to your supporters, including:
|
-
Essential one-pagers on FreeWill, your tools, UTM tags, plus links to the latest FreeWill blog posts.
-
Industry reports on planned giving and QCDs, including the new 2020 Planned Giving report.
-
A full newsletter archive where you can review our past updates and resources!
|
|
Since this resource hub is exclusively for FreeWill partners, it is password protected. Be sure to keep it internal to your organization, and make a note: the password is Giving2020.
Anything missing from this resource hub that you’d like to see? Let your strategist know.

A brief survey to understand your organization's needs
Over the last ten months, our team has seen a large shift in planned giving and donor acquisition strategies among nonprofit organizations. Our goal is to understand your challenges, needs, and how we can help you be successful with planned and major giving.
We’d appreciate if you could take 5-10 minutes to fill out our survey and help make the work of nonprofits easier during this challenging time.
