Launching on February 8th, your supporters can virtually sign their QCD and stock transfer forms through FreeWill’s tool! Available for most brokerages and IRA custodians, we expect this feature to improve completion rates and simplify the donation experience for your supporters. We know how important it is to simplify planned giving, so we’re excited to launch a tool to help your supporters easily direct assets outside of their will to your cause. The tool will help your supporters designate your organization as a beneficiary of their retirement plans, life insurance, and stock brokerages. While we’ll initially launch this as a standalone tool, we plan to integrate it into our will, QCD, and stock tools in the future.

To help centralize your planned giving information, we’re adding a section to the Partner Portal so you can log bequests that come in from sources other than your FreeWill tool! This will help you provide your leadership with a full picture of campaign success and offer your donors an easy-to-access form to share gifts that they’ve designated in their wills.

You want to know more about the donors who create lasting legacies with your organization — and soon you can! If you’re a nationally featured partner, we’re working to integrate DonorSearch into your Partner Portal. It will provide a deliverable report with estimations of donors’ financial and giving history so you can create smart leads based on your planned gift commitments.

And believe it or not, that’s not all! Our Product & Engineering team is hard at work with other features, including mirrored wills for spouses, a slew of Partner Portal updates, and a redesign of our bequest landing page to better co-brand with your organization and increase gifts.
