Spring product updates

Hello!

It’s Jada, your Product-Partner Success Liaison, writing to you from the lovely mountains of Salt Lake City. That title sounds confusing, but part of my role is to make sure that every new product from FreeWill—from exciting updates to brand new tools—is created with you, our partners, top of mind.

To that end, I have two exciting updates to share with you today!

DonorSearch integration is now available for Nationally Featured partners!

DonorSearch is officially integrated into the Partner Portal. This feature provides you with donor information to help understand trends in your supporters and identify potential major donors for your organization — making the stewardship process easier than ever. And this service is included in your package as we roll it out! If you are ready to use DonorSearch, let your strategist know you’d like to turn it on, and they will provide helpful instructions to share this information internally.

Keeping track of your bequests committed outside of FreeWill is now 10x easier.

We know that not all planned gifts come through FreeWill’s platform, which can make keeping your records organized difficult. Now it’s simple to solicit and record information on gifts committed via FreeWill or otherwise in one place: your Partner Portal. There are several ways this feature can be used by partners of all sizes:

Send a digital “verification form” to donors who have already included a gift in their wills.
Add a link to the bottom of emails and other communications for donors to self-report gifts and glean fuller data.
Record gifts that did not come through FreeWill.
Associate gifts with past FreeWill communications, if they were not completed on your website.

Bequest partners, look for a full email about our new outside bequests feature tomorrow!

If you do not want this feature turned on for your organization, please let your strategist know you would like to opt-out by Friday, March 26th.
