On April 8-9, 2026 we welcomed over 1,000 registrants to FreeWill's first-ever Donor Stewardship Summit. In 13 sessions across two days of programming, we discussed best practices and difficult topics like anonymous donors and how to automate without losing the human touch.
Those sessions were largely inspired by you, our partners. Since FreeWill was founded 10 years ago, stewardship has been a regular topic of conversation—from how to best confirm FreeWill gifts to maintaining communication with your FreeWill-sourced planned giving donors.
In the coming pages, you’ll find additional resources to help jumpstart your stewardship programs. These resources and templates are a great way to take all that you learned and put it into action.
