We're thrilled to introduce Named Donor Stewardship, a way to automatically thank your planned giving donors. This feature sends a customized thank you email from your organization to every legacy donor who shares their contact information with you, automatically delivered through FreeWill on your behalf. It's a timely touchpoint designed to enhance your existing stewardship efforts without adding work for your team.
Getting started takes less than 15 minutes. Navigate to Customizations > Auto-Stewardship to add your custom message and activate the emails, and review the Named Donor Stewardship Implementation Guide for templates and content recommendations. Once enabled, you'll also be able to track "sent" and "opened" statuses within Legacy Commitment Gift Details pages in Portal.
