The Named Donor Stewardship (NDS) feature gives partners a scalable, FreeWill-managed entry point to help acknowledge and engage bequest donors without adding burden for your stewardship teams. Leveraging FreeWill's trusted brand and high email open rates, the NDS feature is designed to provide you with key donor signals on communication, to help reduce operational burden and strengthen confidence in your long-term planned giving stewardship.
For donors who've shared their contact information, FreeWill will send a customized email on your behalf, delivered through FreeWill's email marketing platform and including a personalized message from your organization, along with a brief Giving Survey to capture donor intent and communication preferences. Survey responses surface directly in your Partner Portal, giving you the signals you need to inform your follow-up. These emails are designed to be supplemental to your existing stewardship: a warm, well-timed touchpoint that complements the deeper relationship your team is already building.
