Smart Gift Reminder Email

Making it easier for donors to complete non-cash gifts.

We’re making it easier for donors to complete non-cash gifts like stock, crypto, DAFs, and QCDs they’ve already started.

When a donor begins a non-cash gift but leaves before completing it, FreeWill will automatically send a Smart Gift Reminder email. The email provides a direct link back to the donor’s in-progress gift so they can continue where they left off.

What you need to know:

• The email is automatically sent to eligible donors who leave a non-cash gift incomplete.
• Donors can return directly to their in-progress gift from the email.
• No action is required from your team.
  

This update helps reduce friction in the donor experience and gives donors another opportunity to complete a non-cash gift they’ve already started.
