How to use your chosen video in donor communications
Embed the video on your website

If using a ready-to-use version, copy the embed code provided above for your chosen version, and paste the code into the appropriate spot on your website.

If using a customized version provided by your strategist:

Click the “Share” button on the right side of the video – it looks like a paper airplane.

Find the “Embed” header and copy the embed code, or click “Show Options” to specify autoplay, video looping, etc.

Go to the site you want to embed the video onto, and paste the code into the appropriate spot.

Embed the video in a social media post

If using a ready-to-use version, copy the link provided above for your chosen version, and paste that link into your next social post.

If using a customized version provided by your strategist:

Click the “Share” button on the right side of the video – it looks like a paper airplane.

Copy the “Link” next to the Social buttons.

Embed the video in an email
- Embedding a video is a little tricky and depends on the email client you use.
- If embedding is not possible in your email client, you can hyperlink a thumbnail image of the video to the Vimeo link for your chosen version.

When sharing this video, please comply with the following guidelines:
Customization rules
Though you are allowed to add custom footage at the beginning or end of the video, please do not modify any of the actual video content. This includes:

Audio content: voice-over & music

Visual content: all visual assets, graphics & animation
Custom footage (like a logo slide) can only be attached at the beginning or end of the original video. Please do not insert anything in the middle because we ask that you do not alter the original video.
Attribution rules
If you are sharing the mp4 with your supporters, we ask that you credit FreeWill whenever possible. For example, when you are sharing on social media, please tag us @FreeWillHQ.
