# QCD explainer video for donors
#### Share this video with your prospects to explain how QCDs work
Our Design Team created a brand-new, animated video to help you briefly explain to donors QCDs work and what to expect when they open the FreeWill QCD website.

#### How to use this video in donor communications
###### Embedding video in website
- Go to the site you want to embed the video onto, and paste the embed code below into the appropriate spot:

###### **Embedding video in social media post**
- Click the “Share” button on the right side of the video – it looks like a paper airplane.
- Copy the “Link” next to the Social buttons.
- Paste URL in your next social post.
###### **Embedding video in email**
- Embedding a video is a little tricky and depends on the email client you use.
- Use the embed code below if your email host allows:

- However, if embedding is not possible in your email client, you can **hyperlink a thumbnail image of the video to the Vimeo link. Here are two options for thumbnails to hyperlink: **

###### Downloading and sharing mp4 file:
In order to share the mp4 file with you, please comply with the following guidelines:
**Customization rules **
Though you are allowed to add custom footage at the beginning or end of the video, please do not modify any of the actual video content. This includes:
- Audio content: voice-over & music
- Visual content: all visual assets, graphics & animation
Custom footage (like a logo slide) can only be attached at the beginning or end of the original video. Please do not insert anything in the middle because we ask that you do not alter the original video.
**Attribution rules **
If you are sharing the mp4 with your supporters, we ask that you credit FreeWill whenever possible. For example, when you are sharing on social media, please tag us @FreeWillHQ!
