## Planned giving stewardship

We heard you! Participants in our [Planned Giving Stewardship](https://lp.freewill.com/partner-training-planned-giving-certificate-stewardship) course appreciate our overview of best practices. When asked if they'd join a roundtable to idea share with other FreeWill partners, the answer was a resounding "Yes!"

 

Our first ever Partner Roundtable was intended to facilitate connection with other FreeWill partner contacts working in planned giving. Technology may have failed us, making breakout groups impossible, but our large group discussion was fruitful, creating space to learn what other FreeWill partners are doing to steward their legacy donors. 

 

In this session, we discussed:

1. General best practices for planned giving stewardship
2. Legacy societies and what special benefits you offer for membership
3. Your biggest challenges around planned giving
4. Specific stewardship touches/activities that resonate with your donors
5. How FreeWill supports your stewardship efforts
