## Donor prospect research & uncovering assets

 

Data like donor demographics, giving history, wealth indicators, prior engagement, and willingness to talk to you all help evaluate a prospect’s capacity and likelihood to give. 

 

But for many nonprofits, identifying potential donors is the most challenging part of the fundraising process. With limited time in your day:

- Who should you target?
- Where can you learn more about them?
- How can you assess their affinity for your organization?
- How can you gauge their capacity and/or inclination to give?
- And who has time for all this work anyway?!?
