Summertime Smart Giving 2025

 

In 2024, 53% of smart gifts and 62% of smart gift dollars made via your FreeWill products were received in Q4 (Oct/Nov/Dec). However, it's important to understand that 74% of those dollars went to FreeWill partners who sent at least one piece of SGS outreach earlier in the year!
 
Sending smart giving outreach throughout the year is a key strategy for success, priming donors to give at year-end. This summer is a great time to reinforce your smart giving message and continue educating donors about the benefits of non-cash donations.
 
 In this live campaign strategy session, we shared:
  1. Why sending outreach over the summer helps move the needle on smart gifts in 2025, especially at the end of the year
  2. Outreach strategies for the summer smart giving campaign (including "must haves" and "nice to haves")
