National Make-A-Will Month

 

Our biggest campaign is back! August is National Make-A-Will Month (MAWM), and each year hundreds FreeWill partners send outreach to mark this giving occasion.

 

MAWM is an essential element of FreeWill's planned giving strategy. All Planned Giving Suite partners are encouraged to connect with donors this August to educate on the importance of estate planning and share how planned gifts support your mission, now and for generations to come.

 

In this live session, we shared:

    1. Reasons why MAWM is such an effective time for a planned giving message
    2. Outreach strategies for the campaign ("must haves" and "nice to haves")
    3. Suggested framings and compelling new messaging for your MAWM campaign
    4. How to opt in to the campaign before the August 7th deadline
