Campaign info session:
2026 National Estate Planning Awareness Week (NEPAW)
You've heard of National Make-A-Will Month, held every year in August. But estate planning is bigger than wills!
National Estate Planning Awareness Week (NEPAW) was founded in 2008 by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils as a way to help the public understand what estate planning is and why it's a vital component of financial wellness.
For your organization, NEPAW (October 19-25, 2026) represents an opportunity to raise awareness, put free easy-to-use estate planning tools in your donors’ hands, and generate legacy gifts in the process.
Watch the recording above to learn:
-
- Reasons why NEPAW is such an effective time to educate donors about the importance of estate planning and the impact of charitable planned gifts
- Outreach strategies for the campaign ("must haves" and "nice to haves")
- Suggested framings and compelling new messaging for your NEPAW campaign
- How to opt in to the campaign before the October 9th deadline
